I agree. I have a coffee maker that you just measure out the coffee, pour
the cup of water into it and put your mog underneath it. Then press the
button and in a couple minutes out comes the coffee.
It is easy and simple.

Wow! Boy if I need to know about a coffee maker I know who to call, LOL.
Thank you.
I just forgot the name.
I have to clean mine I think by running vinegar water through it, is that
the correct way to sanitize it? It has been sitting on my counter and I
have not used it for a year or more
A friend taught me years ago that there are two basic ways to prepare bacon
-- cooking it and frying it. To make the classic bacon that is crisp and not
rubbery or dry, you have to fry it, which means cooking bacon in bacon fat.
Unfortunately this is mutually exclusive with keeping it grease

Hello,
Has anyone tried cooking long-grain rice in the microwave? If so how did
you do it and how did it turn out? I can do it on the stove but would like
to be able to muse the microwave if that's possible.

This is something I'm trying to figure out right now.
I make the rice and sauce packaged stuff in the microwave all the time, and
they require two cups of water to a packet of rice, and it takes about 12-14
minutes in the microwave to get it cooked. My suspicion is that it's a one
cup amount,
Yes, 1/2 cup vinegar and 1/2 cup water. And then rinse with a few cycles of
clear water.

Thank you. I realy felt this was a egitimate question because it is
involved in making your kitchen safe for people to eat or drink things that
you make. A market list is not for cooking and cleaning questions. I will
do that.

But the k-cups are more expensive than regular coffee and the keurigs, even

Hello everyone I love stuffed cabbage but have never tried making it myself.
If anyone has any recipes for this Please send. I would love to have them.

This is how I make stuffed cabbage. It's time consuming but well
worth the effort!
To make the stuffing:
Cook 1 cup of long-grain white rice.
Cook 1 pound ground beef. Remove from skillet and, in drippings, or
olive oil, cook 1 medium-size onion, chopped, until golden and
smelling delicious!
Hi, I pasted the recipe directly into the message. I don't know why
it didn't come through. I'll just type it in this time, and hope that
you can access it.
In a large glass measuring cup, combine 2 cups raw long-grain rice
(not instant!) with 3-1/2 cups stock or water, 1-1/2 tsp. butter or
