I request an adopter for the vpnc package. The package is usualy easy to

To be honest, I have no idea of what's going wrong on your system.
Please test 1.5.2 packages from

Hello,
actually, cdfs seems to be in big trouble. I found a fix to make it

as zero-sized files returning IO errors on access.

Exactly. So if you check the return value then the compiler will fail (like in
the test case above) and you are lucky to notice the problem.

IMHO this problem is nasty: if the user does not check the return code
but sanitizes the buffer before using it, then this bug leads to
incorrect program behaviour ("empty" error messages) without triggering
any compiler warning.

At the first glance your patch looks ok BUT it leaks memory because

Hello,
I had exactly the same problem on upgrade and there was no solution.
I upgraded Java to sun-java6-bin but that didn't help either.
After a reboot and after a dozen of postinst calls (during installation
of other packages) it suddenly worked once, and I could not reproduce
the problem since

If the daemon was not running before, postinst bails out RSN.
Oh, and prerm dies too, drivling something about not supported action. This is
not a very reliable way of package configuration, please fix.

This is not about "capitals or not". This is about having EXACTLY the

Hello,
I found this bug in the current version of apt (0.7.9) even appearing
with Server: field, but less often. When HTTP pipelining is used (depth:

responses were received in sequence. I see the response headers being
sent to the
