Actually you have CONFIG_LGUEST_GUEST=y already so I think just this

A simple solution is to change the upstream version number to 0.10.1a1 (which
complies to the distutils standards). I'm attaching a dpatch that does that
for your consideration.
This was tested succesfully in Ubuntu.

The 2.6.24 builds targeted for experimental seem to be missing the
various paravirt guest options. I believe this is because 2.6.24 adds
CONFIG_PARAVIRT_GUEST which enables all the others.
Found one more data point - the cycling and even complete hang of the
desktop environment only happen when I change screens quickly enough.
When I press Ctrl-F1 and then quickly Ctrl-F2 etc to cycle the screens
fast enough, so that the next presss happens before the last one
