the install file with export
CC=/usr/bin/gcc-4.6;./NVIDIA-Linux-x86-290.10.run (make the file
runnable or use sh to start it).
Running my desktop with the Radeon driver however is problematically at

the reset button does not work: the machine is
unable to find any boot disks.
The troubles started after upgrading to Gnome3 and the open source

Is it possible to have NO wrapping for the text of a desktop icon (even
per icon maybe)? Now it seems to wrap at random (e.g. C++ wraps between
the C and the ++) making the text with the icons difficult to read.
