Allerdings klappt das nicht, weil modconf ständig die Datei verändert.
Und wenn ich modconf nicht zu laden des Moduls verwende, dann klappt das
auch nicht!

PS.: die Usb-Unterstützung funktioniert, da ich mehrere USB-Geräte
laufen habe. Jedoch stecke ich die Karte zuvor an, dann habe ich das
Modul mit modconf geladen. Das Menü von

From a quick galnce at the source, it looks like they test for ppp support
by trying to put the tty into the ppp discipline. When this fails, they
assume it is due to lack of ppp support. The tty does not seem to be
validated in any way. I'd call it a bug. Users find it very confusing.

It was originally suppose to support slip and diald as well, but I never
had the chance to get that part developed.
I see no urgent need to add slip support. Diald may become obsolete when
demand-dialing is debugged, but I think it should have its own config
utility anyway.
Of course, John may be more
, or a problem in my logic?
I'd call that a bug in pppd, but the authors may not agree.
