I am trying to see how Denemo works with microtonal accidentals. I can

I get this "Could not open output file for writing" when I enter a note.
Windows 10 Denemo v,2.2. I reloaded the program using the installer.
Any one have an idea to fix this?

In the manual there are characters showing up that are not part of the
script in many places, For example e.g. looks like e. g. Tried on
two computers , the same thing. Is this a fault of my computers? If
