Hi canon, and thank you for your report. The list scrolling performance,
for me, is quite smooth even for long lists, but I am wondering whether
what you are observing might be a side effect of bug 1003466. Note that
we are in the process if fixing this one, but a release for this fix
into Precise
As it turns out the delete actually does work from Python even if the
file is not set as writable, so we can set this one to invalid. We have
a unit test for this case in the , and the test case from bug 996333
(for which this code was the fix) shows the file being successfully
deleted as well.

sorting-lp873104) fixes this error when searching from inside the
previous purchases view itself, but it does not fix it when searching
from the main lobby panel. Therefore, we'll keep this open until we fix

Hi Daniel! I have just tried and I cannot reproduce this in the latest
version of Software Center in 12.04 Precise Pangolin. This is testing
while launching both from the launcher and the terminal. I know that we
made some fixes in this area, so I believe it is very possible that this

Hello Stéphane, and thanks for reporting back on this bug. Indeed, this
issue was a temporary condition that has since been fixed on the server
side, and I can also confirm that turning on recommendations works just
fine now. So, I will close this one.
