happens, but when happens , it repeats once in 30 to 60 seconds,
External monitor goes black for half second or so. Sorry I am not

I can confirm empathy 3.6.4-0ubuntu4.1 fixes the bug. I can open
online accounts turn on and off settings without a issue. I am using two

Glib assertion failed when starting firefox. Looks like is the same as

is hapening with firefox 22 on Ubuntu 13.10.

You are sure that your file /etc/logrotate.d/cups is exactly the same as
the one I asked you for testing in comment #15.

I had the same problem on Ubuntu 12.04.2 LTS, after some package updates (maybe
from 12.10 or 13.04):
Thumbnail preview is broken, CPU load increases with the number of previewable
files in the folder viewed with nautilus.
Just found a solution/workaround here:

This bug is driving me insane. It just started happening last night.
Prior to yesterday, I was able to upload directories just fine, now it
freezes after only a few kB's get transferred.
Any sort of a fix?
