There is a report on the Forum (and I confirm) that PDF import extension 2.1.0
is not working on OO 4.0.1. The earlier version 0.1.0 is working. The extension
site entry for 2.1.0 says this is identical to 0.1.0 apart from changed ID and
version number.

unregistered) are at about 10% of normal levels - currently 16 listed , whereas

If I remember correctly I got the same error when installing from the AOO 4.0
release debs. My cure was completely to remove all traces of LibreOffice using
Synaptic. Again, from memory, this was achieved by removing libreoffice-core.
I think it is possible to run OpenOffice in parallel with LibreOffice, but I
have no detailed information on how to do that, as I don't need to do it.
