Hello John,
Apache Fineract is a core banking system back end written in Java. It has a
REST interface, so really you can communicate with it via code written in
any programming language.
You will need to run an SQL database as well.
Take a look at the code base (1), and our recent release (2) a
gress towards the
real goal.)

Hi Pye Phyoe Aung,
You may find that the current generation of Fineract locks the
database too aggressively for multiple deployments to be of much use

Committer, Apache Fineract
Hey all,
I've put up a wiki page describing how to merge an Apache Fineract pull request:
https://cwiki.apache.org/confluence/display/FINERACT/Merge+a+pull+request+to+a+mirrored+Apache+repo
It's been a while since I used this recipe, so feedback is quite welcome.
I hope this helps,
Myrle
Hi James,
The service you describe as LeaseNow has a large overlap with the
service implemented as portfolio. (1)
Missing relative to your requirements list are:
* aggregate payment information across multiple loans,
* support for the dashboard you indicate,
* outside payment connectors.

Hey all,
You may have read me talking about adding the Fineract-CN repositories
as "gitbox" repositories. Unless you've been following other lists at
Apache, you probably don't know what a gitbox repository is.
Currently, we have a mirrored GitHub repository for Apache Fineract.
The downside of
f that leaves any of your questions unanswered.

Myrle

I'll be doing them one at a time and we have 47 open pull requests so
this will take about a year. If we continue accumulating dead pull
requests, I may have to parallelize.
Go ahead and get your favorite PR's merged *before* I ping t
Hey Ramesh,
If you want a service that really is standalone to start your
experiments with, your best bets are either provisioner or identity.
For anything else, you're going to need a request header containing a
JWT token from identity. Without the token header, the only response
you'll receive
ake around 15 minutes.

1.) My apologies Thai,
I broken the integration test with changes in portfolio. Unfortunately
it's also going to be a little while before I get around to fixing it.
Part of the problem is that I added a dependency to portfolio. We've
been relying on component testing and hand testing in the mean-

V.P., Apache Fineract
eptionally important, and can be hard to come by
in open source projects. Thank you Mexina.
