In the Web interface go to Server Settings, Network, where there is an
entry for Radio Station Timeout. It can't harm to increase this, and

I have found that the beta 6.5x is much, much faster than 6.2.x and as best I can tell it is pretty close to being bug free and 'ready' for general release. I would give that a try. don't know Linux too well,. but on Windows, I would definately completelyremove previous version and reinstall.

Well 6.0.2 has fixed the skipping problem but it returned the problem of
playing songs twice. A couple of albums will play everysong twice which
is almost as annoying as the skipping. If I force a rescan it sometimes
will fix that album (mostly not) but others may then double play. I've

Squeezebox 3 with Slimserver 6.2.2. Is there anything I have to do to
get discrete codes working? I've put together a pcf for my RU-950 based
on a few I've downloaded from the plug-ins page but the Squeezebox
doesn't respond to any of the discrete codes.

Just a point - if you do add the tags you do need to re-scan for changes
as all the tag fetails are stored in the database, not read from the
file.

While it is fantastic out of the box and I'm really enjoying tweaking
it, it isn't a product for the faint hearted. I

that album. The problem is...if there is another album by another
artist that shares the same name, it automatically adds those tracks as

Go to Server Settings/Behavior and add any album names that behave like
this to COMMON ALBUM TITLES. I'm not sure, but I believe you may then
have to rescan your library afterwards to get the setting to take
effect.

What version of Slim are you running? The plugin functions on version
6.x.x ok. I recommend 6.2.x as it is the latest stable branch. The
plugin can take up to 60 seconds to trigger after the shutoff time has
been reached, wait a while and see if the screen turns off. I know
that this plugin

By default, that is 'TRACKNUMBER' on FLAC files.
If that tag is missing it will fall back to sorting by TITLE.
(Unless you're using Browse Music Folder.. in that case sorting is
based on filename, not what is in the tags at all.)

I don't believe I'm running a firewall. iTunes is running on the same
machine as slimserver. iTunes works fine accessing the internet and
radio, but slimserver cannot access any internet radio.

My suggestion is to upgrade to the newest beta of Foobar (even if its
only to tag your catalog). The replaygain section of the program has
changed significantly since the last stable release and the latest beta
adds some cool options for Replay-Gain like scan for Album Gain by
directory, by tags
