USB2 external disks are fine for SqueezeCenter. If you put SqueezeCenter on your mac over wireless it would not work as well because the music stream would have to go over wireless twice and could cause the music to drop out (not play for a few seconds while it catches up) I would say it would

Do you have another computer? 1. first make sure you can bring up the web itnerface locally at http://127.0.0.1:9000 2. The see if you can bring up the web interface from another computer, at http://you_macs_IP:9000 3. Then try telnetting to port 3483 and see if it connects. Let us know how
