Does Squeeze Commander work and is usable on a SE X10 Mini?
I am asking because this one has a very small screen (240 x 320).
Did anyone tried it?
I have not bought the phone yet, so I would like to know it upfront.

Yes, I have several beta testers with an X10 mini and it seems to work
pretty good for them. :-)

2. If I buy the app then have to reset my phone or get a different
phone, how do I install the app again without having to buy it again?

The forum software will downgrade your storage (but IME not delete any
messages) if it doesn't think your email address has been validated. Go
to the User CP page, change your email address, and be sure to then
validate your email address with the URL that the system sends you,

'deferred' bugs be revisited and if suitable, made live for fixing.

Setup consisting of an Synology DS-107+ running the SB Server, a SB3
and SB Boom.
For setting up the brand new Receiver I connected (by wire) the laptop

I have registered for the Wiki, but it tells me the confirmaition email
failed to be sent (and I don't get one.) My email address is valid
