The Now Playing appears as a small panel on the bottom of the screen
(when you are playing something). You can swipe upwards (or just press
it) to make it full screen. I don't think there is a playlist view in
this early preview version (the release notes mention that it isn't
implemented yet).
I've been playing with the latest beta myself. Apart from the expected
instability/bugs with such a preview, I can't say that I'm sold on the
UI updates at this point - for example, Now Playing no longer shows the

You might try changing the Orange Squeeze Persistent Connection setting
(under Advanced Preferences) to see if that stops the app from
restarting itself in the background. Some of us in the past had the
opposite issue (app stopped running in the background when we didn't

I've encountered an issue with the download to device function. I
tried to download an album with a : (colon) in the album title. The
artist folder was created, but not the album folder within (nor any of

I like the app quite a bit. I find it fast enough on both my Droid and
Galaxy Tab except for scrolling/navigating long lists.
SqueezeCommander still performs better, but this app has its
advantages.

Yes, what garym said. It's working for me on my SB3 after setting up the
app on mysqueezebox.com. I did have to change my internet radio username
at the SiriusXM site (I was previously using an email address that was

In addition to the differences already noted, the SB1 also doesn't do
gapless mp3 playback, I don't believe (mine has been sitting in a
closet for some time, I may be misremembering what I gained moving to
the SB2).
