We love our Squeezeboxes too. I think I've bought at least at least a
dozen of them for the house, my office and as gifts for family. Plus
all the friends I've turned on to it, and who continue to thank me every
time they see me. Like everyone else posting, one of the best pieces of
technology
if there is a firmware
update?

I think if Logitech were to decide to not produce Squeezeboxes anymore,
they'd probably look to sell it, unless it's just too tied up with the
Revue, etc.

I wholeheartedly agree with all the good sentiments. The Squeezebox

As pfarrell eludes to above, a good spare switch can answer can answer
a lot of questions right quick, while simultaneously providing
significant relief on the hassle and exasperation scale.

switch? How long is it? What kind of switch? Can you get any stat's
from your router - both with and without the SB computer running? How
does your network behave when the SB computer is up and running, but
not running SBS?

Use an Ethernet crossover cable. In your SB 3 put the computer's IP
address as the gateway address (and the DNS address too, if it needs
one). Use the same mask in both.
