The problem is not that the tags aren't being read correctly (as they
show up properly on the web interface I believe) but that the font used
on the SBC simply doesn't contain the required characters.

The application name in the router setup is just a name for that set of
ports, you can put anything you want in it.
As for your problem it does sound a lot like a firewall issue. What
exactly happens when you try to connect - does it timeout or fail
quickly? Any error messages?

It's not cheating because SoftSqueeze is a supported player which uses
slimproto to connect in the same way as an SB. If you use something
like winamp it isn't and it doesn't :)

The voltage should be the same, the amp rating has more leeway - 1.5 or
