database systems from MySQL (as used in old LMS versions) to SQLite (as

rescan often (Windows).
Guess it's the phase where the old records are removed from the db. It's
much faster when I stop LMS, delete the cache and restart.
Would a different web UI be ok? IIRC the one provided by extGUI4LMS
makes use of bigger screens.
Check it in the plugins section of LMS web settings.

Analyze your wifi environment first. The easiest way is by loading an
app like Wifi Analyzer on a mobile or tablet and walk around and see
what channels in your neighborhood might disturb your current wifi
channel. If you've found a channel less overlapped by others then
configure it in your wifi

Max audio quality is not simply achieved when packets of bits reach
their destination but it's depending on HOW they do it.
By using the SuperDuper CatX cable they have more room to expand and can
reach their destination very relaxed. So it's only logical that you can
hear the difference. ;)

As far as I know, disturbances from microwave ovens do occur only in the
2.4GHz range of a WLAN (although I'm not an expert here). So if your
WLAN router offers 5GHz as well, you could place a 802.11n WLAN-Ethernet
