guess the SB has a nice remote control
interface, but you can get add-on IR remotes for a PC that cost a lot
less than an SB. A 15 LCD display plus an IR remote dongle would
probably still cost less than an SB.

firmware, though the jive remote now complains about an invalid MAC
address when it boots up.
It seems that some hardware change between the jive remote and the SBC
is making a difference.

Does the SB3 display face the IR input on the amp? The display is
multiplexed and it may be have enough output in the IR spectrum at the
right frequency to confuse the amp's IR detector.
Try turning the SB3 so the amp can't see its display.

99.9% there- all that is needed is
to bump the position of the displayed digits by 1 pixel every hour or
so. It's just programming, and trivial at that.

I think it would be a good idea to have the SB3 firmware move the clock
display across the display one pixel at a time maybe shifting once per
hour or half hour. That way the work is spread over the entire display
but doesn't move fast enough to be annoying or distracting.

Open slimserver and select server settings then select interface.
Int he first heading web interface there is a list of skins you can
use. I use the touchscreen interface for my st3500 tablet and it
works great.
