Double check that the Protect Content toggle is not checked under your preferences. I've accidentally ripped songs with that toggled on, and it puts WMA copy proteciton on the file. I only discovered it when I moved the music folder to a new PC and had Windows start refusing to play those files

Thanks, but that wasn't the problem. I had a playlist already configured, and playing. I figured out that I needed to install the lame.exe and lame_enc.dll files to get the conversion. Without those, nothing plays, and player on the server side web interface always shows as stopped. Install
