to manually rename files and such.
So right now what happens is that I get an MP3 from somewhere, like

I've had the same problem with my power connector. If I move the SB it
will reboot every time if I'm not real careful. I should get it
replaced but I don't want to be without the SB3 while I ship it back

I can't browse by Music Folder after the 7.1 update. Running OS X

The display in the SB can gradually decrease in brightness afaik so best
not to have static text.

I saw your other threads when I was trying to figure out what I was
doing wrong. If connecting to SN didn't work, my next step was going
to be to revert to the stock FW. Interestingly enough, it was only the
night before that I moved to dd-wrt - guess that was bad timing.
People on the list have been asking for a Boombox for years, I think
they just took the name that their public gave it.

I needed to connect my Blu Ray player to the Internet via LAN, knowing
that SB3 can provide a wireless bridge (WB). I followed the

One caveat on switching channels from the default. Many of the type N
routers will only use the N setting
IMO you neither need a 3rd party plugin or to retag files.
In SqueezeCenter's web interface, go to Settings (lower right of
window) and then select the Music Library tab. The very top setting

Yes, this is a more fundamental answer. Stop pretending that a low
powered NAS can run
What's the sample rate? 24/44.1 or 48 shouldn't have a bitrate that
high. Normal 24/96 files only have a bitrate of around 2300-2500k.
88.2k and 96k files on Receiver are also downsampled so that may also
be what you are experiencing.

Thank you. Yes, I did connect my player via Ethernet port with an
ordinary LAN cable. When checking the Internet status, it fails. On SB3
when checking current settings, I can see Wireless bridge - NO. And I
can't turn it ON, it just doesn't give me an option. :(
