You should use 7.2. It is extremely stable on XP. Most of the isssues
reported are Mac or Vista related..and to be fair most of the issues
are not problems with SC itself.
A must-have plugin is a very personal judgement. For me, Lazy Search

I have just connected my SB3 to my Samsung BD-1400 Bluray.
But it doesn't get connected to the internet. I have restartet the SB3

To be clear - the SB sends digital zeroes between tracks. Some DAC's
will mute with digital zeroes over a period of time and some won't.
Some will only mute when lock is lost - i.e. there is no digital signal
at all.

When this happened to me, I had to power cycle the Receiver. Yes, power
cycle the Receiver, even though it was playing fine from SC. Doesn't
make any sense at all, but it worked for me! Hope this does it for
you.

I found Song file viewer plugin which it seems would work.

I'm running Vista x64 and my Transporter is connected over ethernet. My
router is properly configured and there are no communication problems.
Everything works fine with Slimserver 6.5.4.
But if I install any version of Squeezecenter 7.x, the Transporter

to SqueezeCenter which is depressingly slow and clunky (still). I'm
using an old Sony Vaio laptop as the music server and it's running XP

Oddly, I've gotten the album artwork to display for *most* albums. I

weird that happens when you have a directory with a trailing period. I
would guess it has something to do with that or the two periods before
