enable the auto downsampling of high res 96/24 or 88/24 FLAC files to

Just installing mplayer is not sufficient. To use mplayer on any SC/SBS
version you also need to change convert.conf or add a
custom-convert.conf files. IIRC SSODS used to have these changes and
mplayer.
I suspect it will be easier to build a correct version of faad for a
209 rather than finding

I don't get what the problem is... perhaps there is confusion as to what
is displayed on the WEB UI, or SB display and what is contained in the
m3u (playlist)files? One is display formatting ONLY, set by yourself,
the other is t do with how you set your file/track format. I checked my
playlist

listings. Unless I manually enter the hyphens, Squeezecenter says the
playlist is empty.

changed to open the Control Panel as opposed to the web interface.
After much debate, in 7.5 this will still be the default behaviour to
begin with, but after that you can change it to open the web interface

button. It is hidden under the advanced settings tab. Used to be on
the front page, if I remember right.
