I am having trouble with the 'official' 6.0.2 version (W2K PIII). Every so often the slim.exse process just wigs out, maxing out the CPU and just lingering in that state. No scans, no other interaction, except playing music. Restarting the server works, but then it starts doing it again.

MyOnkyo remtoe does not have a learning function and I think I have tried 20 or 30 codes (all possible JVC codes I could find in the Onkyo manual as well as anywhere else plus just some other random ones (trying to 'get lucky'). None work, so I suppose I am out of luck. BTW, in response to

Thanks. The 'problem' I am trying to address is to get the web interface to work more quickly. I primarily use the web interface, not the remote. It can take 30 seconds to load certain pages (like Browse Albums or Browse Artists). The music library is about 10K songs. The slow load times are not
