health
and then select the rate. You need =100 @ 1500kbps for flac.
If that is OK, then use the Performance Monitoring option to check that
the server and SB are talking happily...

The hum must be coming from a nearby mains transformer in one of your
equipment items. By turning off (say) the DAC but leaving eh buffer
running should tell you if it is teh dac or the buffer...
You could try wrapping the cables in foil... ?

strength and you NEED to get 100% at 1500 not 40-50%
Could something be interfering with your wi-fi? Neighbours maybe?

My 5103 plays back 96/24 streams perfectly ...and takes the 24-bit
output from my SB or TACT processor just fine.
The DAC's and ADC's in the 5103 are all 96/24
dts mimimum spec is 48/24...
I love my dozen or so HDCD rips (at 48/24).

his most basic (cheapish) cable) as he has lots of experience with Naim
pinouts. Alternatively, get the soldering iron out. In this particular

would check that these files are not encoded with SoundCheck (Apple
replaygain). Also check that replaygain is turned off in SC (settings -
players - audio.

Are you playing FLAC or WAV?
I think you need to have FLAC-FLAC (native) set and FLAC-WAV (disabled)
for this to work. (in settings - advanced - file types)

automatically scanned and hey presto all my artwork appeared!
However, I am not confident that future albums added will include the
thumbnails.
I've only ever been able to add new artwork through a clear/rescan, not
through an incremental new music scan.

Apart from self-inflicted injuries from adventurous nightly downloads,
I've never had a serious problem that I couldn't solve myself in a few
mins or maybe a question or two on this forum. I've never called
support. It just works for me!

This works brilliantly for just playing music. In fact, it easily
handles a whole-house system.
Actually that is a very fair and (IME) accurate point. It's easy to
forget those golden stable releases!
