Thanks for the info. I would tend to think that as long as the volume control on the amp is set to where it's not clipping when the SBx is at max, all would be well in the case of a catastrophic volume event. -- 86atc250r

A receiver type device with built in amp (maybe offered in various sizes) -- just hook to your traditional speakers and go. Taking it a step further, maybe offer the DSP functionality of the Boom, adjustable crossover freq's, sub out, etc.., settings tweakable from squeezecenter. -- 86atc250r
