A couple of friends are using it and are very pleased - one put a pair in to link his router (which sits near his SB2) to the server PC which was just far enough away that closing a door broke the wireless link.They both said they were the easiest bits of IT kit they'd ever used - plug in, connect

My experience is that the 2006 OS is a huge improvement, though part of that may have been me enabling some swap memory on the card. Certainly the web browser seems more responsive and will now handle eBay (which crashed it in the past).

How do iTunes playlists work and how do i get them to appear in
Slimserver? I used to get the 'standard' itunes playlists appear but
when i add new ones they don't show up in slimserver, even after a
rescan.
I found some m3u files with odd names in the itunes folder and tried
deleting them.
No, that sounds used to me. I've had 4 SB's delivered in total and
they've all had the batteries sealed and out of the remote.
The last one (or maybe both 2's) didn't have the coloured outer but
i'm pretty sure they were both taped shut.

I'm trying to enable musicmagic in 6.02. I'm was never sure how it
worked in 6.01 (a lot of fiddling with server settings was needed
IIRC). Now in 6.02 when i try to enable the plugin the checkbox
unchecks when i hit change (ie, checkbox unchecked, check it, hit

The Live search is working really well - a huge improvement. However,
why isn't it the default on the web interface - it would make sense
for the search box at the top in fishbone to directly access live
search rather than 'songs'
