Great work, mherger! Now I can access all Tidal functions, including
favorites and my mixes, from Tidal.
But unfortunately none of the tracks will play back. The full category
results are there, everything is fast, it loads the playlist, with play
times, but does not play the tracks.

Thank you for the reply. I've seen that "ID" field in the YouTube

Thanks for the reply. I get very variable performance on this. Same with

But thanks for recently played trick, it works from there, but not from

Does anyone else have this problem:

- Save it
- Come back to it later and none of the tracks will play. It will

mixes 1hrs+ usually) but never start playback.

Can confirm this is a real issue - I ignored the warnings because I

Hello,
Thank you for contacting TIDAL Tech Support.

Hi
I just discovered LMS a few months ago and I'm extremely happy with it,
far better (with the inclusion of all the streaming services as well as
local files) than all the other music servers I've used.
As far as I've understood, LMS originated in Logitech hardware that is

Thank you all for your quick, high-quality replies :)
Nothing seems to have been done with the plugins or anything else, the
only thing was that the music started by itself.
I have already set up an OpenVPN setup through which I can from e.g. my
mobile phone access LMS through its home network
5am last night my LMS on an Odroid XU4 started playback, I assume it was
because a hacker through port forwarding hacking has accessed my LMS.
The LMS's music source is an NFS mounted drive on a Synology NAS.
No files appear to have been deleted or anything on the NAS. I have shut

Thanks, you're right, I had done some changes in my router settings,
these caused problems with the NAS, I updated the NAS settings and
everything was alright. Well spotted, I had imagined it would be very
complicated to diagnose this issue.

By the way, since my original post complaining about the missing Maykel
Blanco albums when searching Tidal through LMS, which were all shown
correctly on e.g. Tidal.com - now, when doing that Tidal search through
LMS, -all albums appear-. Has anything been changed ?

Yes, it had something to do with exactly something like that, for
unrelated reasons I changed my LAN IP address range and it ended up
causing network problems until I adjusted LAN IP.
Hi
I have two LMS, one on a Synology and one on an Odroid.

If Logitech indeed has an employee dedicated to LMS - it is mature

the issues and asks for updated APIs so that LMS can get full Tidal

It is just a matter of asking them I would suppose,

No response on this? Surely many of you use the Tidal plugin and suffer
the same problems?
Other third-party software that offers a Tidal interface, e.g.
Bubbleupnp, offers all functions and no missing search results. Surely
LMS could do the same ? As far as I'm concerned it's the only flaw in

Tried looking for scanner logs: Settings - Information - The two log
files at the bottom. The NAS one was empty, because of the update I did
earlier today I suppose, the XU4 one has identical info in both files
and none of it to do with library scanning:

Hmmm, did manual install of the package, downloaded from your mirror for
my ds415play, stopped and started package, LMS information still showing
same version, 7.9.2 - 0028.1572699180 @ Sat Nov 2 14:19:59 CET 2019
Thanks for the tip on the update - how can I be automatically notified
about these updates? Why isn't there a normal Synology package
repository/ advice about the update showing up in package centre like
with other packages!
Otherwise, thanks again for the package, great work!
I should add: both the XU4 and the NAS had just been factory reset and
had nothing but LMS installed on them.

OK, it's easy but I don't like it.
On an Asus router with Merlin firmware, make sure you have your free
ASUS DDNS set, then go to Advanced Settings - VPN - VPN Server - create
username and password - click plus - click apply.

is there really no function in LMS to allow access to multiple users ?
Ideally -without- giving them access to configuration stuff, only
playback. Thanks for your help.

HOW do you manually restart LMS ? There really should be an option for
this in the LMS interface but I've found none. It requires periodic
restarts to function smoothly IME, but only way I've found to do it is
restart the entire NAS (which is like a five minute process, and I'm not
sure doing it
Just realized my favourite Tidal function is missing from LMS: The "My

new music. I listen mostly to salsa, reggae, and

I have one server, and am in the process of setting up the second one:
One fully functioning on an Odroid XU4 (Samsung Exynos5422 Cortex-A15
2Ghz and Cortex-A7 Octa core CPUs, 2Gbyte LPDDR3 RAM PoP stacked,

Delete and re-add Tidal from app gallery on mysquuezebox.com or try
disabling then re enabling Tidal in LMS plugin settings?

Tidal and TuneIn showed up in the NAS LMS as well.
Hi
I have Logitech Media Server installed on an Odroid Xu4, and just also
installed it on my Synology NAS. Everything seems to work fine, the
Synology NAS version that's available is a slightly older version.
Only thing not working on the 2nd server on the NAS is TuneIn and Tidal.

On Logitech Media Server (installed on DietPi OS on an Odroid xu4 SBC)
all plugins work, except Mixcloud, that currently returns a 404 not

I've doublechecked I've pasted the right API key. Any tips ?
I think we're talking about two different types of VPN. I'm using
privateinternetaccess.com for encryption/geolocation between ISP and
everywhere else. My router has some VPN settings in it, I think that's
what you're talking about ?
I've kept reading that, shouldn't this not be a problem as long as LMS
is password protected ? And also, could anyone then please point me in
the direction of instructions of how to use the VPN method ? I don't
know if I can even use it, I ALWAYS use a VPN
