I'm having a problem with the new app. It crashes on startup every time
on my iPhone 5s.
I've tried restarting, just in case it was memory constrained for some
reason.
It looks like it is crashing before it manages to send the automated
crash report (it crashes whether or not I opt to send the r

It also crashes on my iPad mini Retina.
I tried turning off IAP, still crashes.

Now it crashes when it tries to show the main view I think. Shows
splash, shows a screen with a player name at the top, with "Did you know
about iPeng playback", then a second so later it crashe

notice it doing anything, which is good for an AV product).

I think you are confusing two issues here. Libspotify is Linux only and
so isn't really useable by Squeezebox Server given that it needs to run
on Windows and OSX.
The other libraries are very much unofficial and it is hard to see how
Logitech could legally make use of them.

With the screen off a full charged iPad can probably stream audio over
WiFi/Bluetooth for a good 20+ hours. It really is the screen that uses

Apple's iTunes Match makes for an interesting hybrid of the buy/rent
setup. You get high quality, but not lossless, music to buy (256k AAC)
and keep.
And you get _all_ your existing music available on any iOS device; music
that isn't in the iTunes catalogue get
My next system will be Squeezebox based. Today I've invested in 2 x
Booms, 1 x Radio and 1 x Touch.
I expect those and my existing players to keep me going for quite some
years yet.
