Another option is to use MusicIP + Spicefly Sugarcube: let the random
mix pick one album, without adding items when it's done, and Spicefly
Sugarcube will continue adding separate but matching songs to the end
of your queue for each track played.

I know MusicIP as as good as dead to some, but even the latest Bowie
still gets analyzed and I use it very much. It's still better than the
smartmix solution powered by the Echonest for me, so support on
ickStream would be very welcome, especially if it works like SpiceFly
Sugarcube.

I had very similar reasons for not spending the money, especially
regarding the weak "Radio" function, being an avid MusicIP/Spicefly

That's the size of the "RoonServer" folder in
c:\users\username\AppData\Local. The 120k tracks are on my Ubuntu server
and are around 3TB ...
