At the moment there is no metadata type to represent "fuzzy" dates, or

if you delete an item from DSpace it is just flagged as deleted.
The associated bitstreams are removed if you run
[dspace]/bin/cleanup
Best run it along with the other cron jobs nightly.

setting up DSpace with oracle differs a bit from the setup with
postgres, did you follow the instructions in the documentation?
Oracle:
a. Setting up oracle is a bit different now. You will need still need to
get a Copy of the oracle JDBC driver, but
instead of copying it into a lib d
need deploy it via OAI-PMH.

If you want labelling which is not provided by Locale you can add your
own to the Messages.properties e.g.
jsp.home.language-selection.es = Castellano
and use the fmt tag instead of the getDisplayLanguage method.

Note this only counts for the UI parts. Other translations still refer

there is the [dspace]/bin/update-handle-script which allows you to
change the handle prefix e.g. from 12345689 in a test instance to the
handle assigned to you be CNRI.
