I have solved the problem using the 92AD with Drats. 1. I had the baud rate set wrong. I had been using Drats with my ID-800H and it uses 9600 and the 92AD uses 38. 2. I did have GPS off 3. When using the rubber duck antenna it caused some RFI problems with my USB/Serial adapter and

Ray, To address the first part of your message... you have an option on the IC-92AD to display in small or large font. The large font may help Your lack of visual acuity (calibration). For me I'm near sighted and have to remove my glasses to see up close because a friend of mine scratched

There is so much going on in airports they cannot do much except get confused. I was in one today, most used was laptops with wireless internet, second wad cell phones. third was two way radios. Forth was limo drivers walking around with signs with the pick up tourists names on them. Never saw one
