Hi all,
I just looked over the DX4Win awards file that Hamad has been working
on, and it looks like he's done a very good job. But, I noted that
the two big lighthouse awards were missing. The Amateur Radio
Lighthouse Society (ARLHS), and the World Lighthouses On The Air

Sorry, I meant the Group Definitions. The Group numbers are in the
individual QSO records. It's the Group Definitions that are missing.

Can someone tell me where the Group numbers are stored. Somehow they
have disappeared. Went back to 6.0.3 and they were also gone from
there. They may still be in 6.0.2, but won't be able to check until
tomorrow. I must not have copied something correctly from 6.02 to 6.03.

Back before DX4Win had the ability to track and do the LoTW upload, I
did my whole log manually. Now, I'm trying to go through and set the
Upload flag to Y so that I can then set the Upload Date. But, when I

I think I may have a handle on this. It appears that it has something
to do with the way that QSL Method is set. Everything below was done

To start with, I have QSL Methods set as follows:

1,032 to Direct

and downloaded confirmed QSO's from LoTW with out any problems. Just is
working great for me.

It appears that the Country and IOTA Windows aren't being filled in for
incoming packet spots. The IOTA Window appears to work fine when going
through the log using the PageUp and PageDown keys, but the Country
Window isn't. Did I miss something in the upgrade?

My goof. I had COUNTY instead of COUNTRY. I think the IOTA one may be
working too.

One thing that I noted with some of Joe's errors, is that the call

look alike in some fonts, so it's an easy mistake.

Good Morning Bruce,
I've been a very happy user of DX-Telnet for a long time. It's a very
flexible program with lots of goodies, that aren't hard to get up and
running, including a startup routine that starts DX-Telnet, a
handshake program, and then DX4Win. It's very stable, the last update

If I remember correctly, in the 5.x version if I made the send part
(bottom) of the Packet Window smaller it stayed that way when I exited
and restarted DX4Win. But, in the 6.x version, I have to resize it
every time. Anyone else seeing this?

Interesting. I've been working on the awards file, so have been
ending and starting the program over and over. And, every time with
6.02 the spots have been cleared. Have I missed setting an option
some place?

As an aside to this. I think that the RAC instal looks to see if a
previous version was installed and then asks if you want it to replace
the old one in the same directory. If I remember correctly that's the
way the install of this last version went. My RAC is in directory

Hi Larry,
I think the main reason that I don't loose my cluster connections is
because I use the ping (Stay Alive) option of DX-Telnet. Even on slow
spot days, it pings once ever 10 minutes and keeps the connection
active. I can stay connected for a VERY long time this way.

Hi Jim,
It all depends on the filtering that you have setup on your nodes, and
what kind of activity there is, and what good old Sol is up to. When
the solar indexes are bad, I've seen an hour go by without a spot, I
only look at North America and HF. I use W8GN, K8SMC, and others.
So, yes

Hi all,
Was just wondering if there is a maximum number of entries that can be in
the various DX4WIN data bases before you start running into problems? Data
bases such as: LOG file, QSL Managers, and Manager Addresses.
