Terry,
You should go from the speaker jack on the K2 to a line in jack on the
sound card. The headphone jack audio source rolls-off some of the highs
and will make it a little harder to set the filters up.
The speaker out is mono, so I would just use one channel. Some systems

'Tis better to use the auxiliary speaker jack on the back of your K2 to your

Although you can use a standard stereo mini plug to mini plug to connect the

This looks good to me. The basic K2 power sensing circuit will not be exact. If
you have the KAT2, KAT100 OR KPA100 the power calibration can be set almost

I like 30m. It's a nice cross between 40m and 20m. Quite often on 30m,
simply calling CQ will lead to a DX contact. Once, after finishing a
domestic QSO, I was called by three Europeans one right after another. The
first was a Hungarian, the second an Italian, and the third from the Czech
Republic.
It's been a while since I sent out a general question like this: What

If your K2 'rocks' with the bail extended, the most likely cause is either
the bail mounting feet are not the same distance from the edge of the panel

HI
The DL1 is a 50 ohm load but the RF detector is connected across only 1/2 of
the load. The detector is also a peak detector so you need to convert the peak
voltage read on the meter to RMS. So the first thing is to double the read
voltage because of the voltage divider on the DL1 then conver
