You don't need a whole lot antenna-wise to be able to work 6 meters when sporadic E appears or even when we get F2 at a sunspot peak. If you have an antenna tuner that covers 6 meters or can build a simple tuner for 6 meters, just try out your HF antenna and see if it will load. I have used m
