config menu for the FM deviation I think it is shown as FM DEV but check

Well, I must partially recant my recantation. After posting that
email, I went to another band and noticed the data mode was AFSK-A.
In fact, on every band EXCEPT the one I was on when I did the firmware
down/upgrades (20m), the data mode was AFSK-A.
I tried shuffling the firmware again,
I have seen them with various options going for $600.00 thru $700
something. That seems surprisingly low to me when you take a kit add
in the options and come up right around a grand then the guys are
selling them in the 6-7 hundred range, built... Silly.
