transmit CW without VOX on. Several rigs I have used do this when
using their internal keyers.

Huh? My K3 maintains separate VOX status for CW and SSB. I can
(and do) leave VOX on for CW (semi break-in) and leave VOX off

CW mode and you have your power adjusted at 100 Watts then you switch to
DATA A and adjust your sound card's output and or your MIC (Line in) control

sound card that is built into my laptop only works to 48 kHz, and I'm not

Was in the middle of a 10m QSO tonight, and all of sudden no power. Got
this message on the LCD:

Don't have a manual in front of me, so I'm not able to check at the moment.
This is the first time I've come across such an error in the time I've had
my K3.

OK, found the manual and it turns out that it was a DSP issue. Strange.
That's never happened before with any firmware prior to 3.10. Anyone come
across anything similar?
I'm in the process of upgrading to 3.11 and will keep an eye on things to
see if it happens again.

ERR DSE indicates a DSP firmware problem (no response). Consider also
that you could have a corrupt file on your computer. So yes, download a
new copy (or the new beta version) and re-load the K3. Be certain to
load the DSP Data Tables too.

Hmmm. I forgot that the M1-M4 keys can be used as programmable
function keys. So the fact that M1 brought up a CONFIG entry isn't
itself unusual, but the fact that I've never explicitly programmed it
to do so is. (On the other hand, maybe it's *MY* memory that's going,
not the K3's :-)
