Elecraft eMail LIST GUIDELINES 2011
For those of you who are new to the list, (and for those of us who have
rapidly failing memories.. ;-), here is a quick list of things to
remember when posting to this list. Please save this for future reference.
The most important thing to remember is that
Top posting is the official standard for this list, and its especially
important for those of us who also read our email on Android PDA phones,
iPads etc. Scrolling though a long thread before getting to the reply
text is impracticable on these devices and costs us a lot of time.

Extra nice K2/10, s/n 3925. Has the finger dimple, SSB module and antenna

Instead of receiving an email for every posting, you can stop emails and
read and search the list via a convenient web based list archive. Nabble
and mail-archive.com are two excellent Elecraft list archives accessed
via our web page. See:

If you have misplaced your elecraft list password, or if you never
received it, here is how to get it sent to you again.
Go to: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/elecraft
and scroll to the bottom of the page. Enter your email address (the one
you used for the list) and click on 'Edit
When replying to emails on the list, please remember to edit down the
copied text to the minimum needed to retain context. One or two
sentences from the original post are usually sufficient. This keeps the
list and archive volume down and makes everything much more readable.
*** Don't forget
I created the various web archives for the Elecraft list (except for the
qth.net/qsl.net ones).
In my opinion, the Nabble site is the best one for for reading, for
searching, and for writing as well.
All traffic is synchronized with the mailing list, so you get the best of
both worlds.
It's here:
Ouch!
I hope you got your money back
