Yep, as has been pointed out before, the K3 is a highly configurable radio. Some settings, such as AGC and equalizer, can take awhile to get what you want, their effects can be very subtle. Fortunately, the factory defaults right out of the box will provide you with a highly usable radio. I

Gary, You did not specify the cable connections that you are using. You should have the KXPACBL for best integration with the KX3. See pages 14 and 15 of the KXPA100 manual. If you do have those cables and have them connected correctly, then I would say that you have a problem with the
