Arrogant, whining twits...that just hit the nail squarely on the
head. Good rid dents Julian. Maybe we can get some peace and quiet on the
list now.

No Jim, it used to be a unique reflector. Now it's just a sounding
board for cry babies that can't have their toys when they want them.

Can someone tell me what the cabinet color of the K3 is? I at first
thought it was a brown color, then I thought I saw someone remark that is
had been changed to black. Now I see remarks about using a black magic
marker to hide the chipped paint. Is it black or brown?

Maybe my posts aren't making it to the list. I asked a question
yesterday (maybe it was this morning) about the color of the K3 cabinet and
no one has bothered to answer this.
SOO what color is the K3...brown, black or otherwise???

This from the K3 manual:
The sub receiver also has the same filter options as
the main receiver. Up to five crystal filters can be
installed in the sub receiver, as well as a generalcoverage
L-C band-pass filter module (KBPF3, pg.
42). The sub also includes an I.F. noise blanker.
I think mine came with a #2 lens Mike. Focal distance is around 8 and still
gives good magnification. I find it very comfortable as far as the distance and
power. I thought I might try one that would get me a little farther away, but I
am happy with the present lense so it hasn't been something
.

I'm wondering too David. My K3 will probably ship in April (I hope)

Eric, I'm glad I saw this KAT100 thread. I wanted to ask if the KAT100 will
tune ok on 6m. I looked through the specs and the rest of the manual and could
only find reference to 160 through 10. The specs did not include a frequency
coverage range.
