I think it is the default address. "ioaddr" is a separate modparam to
"config" ie:
config="firmwa
I had to think back quite a long way to remind myself about all this.
The problem you are seeing is due to a bug-fix I put in for the 7i90
in cases where there was no config string specified.
This is quite normal with a 7i90, slightly less so with a 7i43.
The problem should only happen if no ioad

In that case the finger of blame points squarely at me.
I am on holiday in the Alps right now, I will have a look when I get back.

What update did you do? (what version of LinuxCNC are you running)
Hi Peter, thanks for answering, I think this is the identical issue that
Tom also reported. I've updated both of CNC boxes to 2.7.12 of LinuxCNC.
I did notice that sometimes after shutting down LinuxCNC on the PC and
restart

The fact that it all works seems to hint at the same.
It isn't that the HAL file converter has doubled up the "loadr

Morning all,
A problem on my machines has appeared during recent updates; it does not
stop either of my machines working but seems to indicate a firmware load
error. I'm using 7i43's on 2 seperate cnc's, first a standard mill, second
a router. 2 seperate PC's, different hardware, different par
