Two things...the rpm I downloaded by following the link was for i686. You
might also check to see where it put it. is it under /usr/lib or
/usr/local/lib?

If your building an mp3 box why don't you just get a player that play's
mp3,cd and dvd all in one?? And hooks up to your current tv and stereo??

Well, I finally got my hands on a low-end machine (hmmm... that seems
backwards). This one is a cast off of my brothers and is a Compaq
Deskpro P60 or something with 48MB RAM. Has a 2GB HDD. I'm putting
in a 10/100 realtek PCI nic and want to put in a soundblaster. I plan
on mounting my machin

Correction: There is a player avaliable for Linux called `RealPlayer 8'
from Real.
I still maintain its a bad name, since [after downloading it] it can't
play any RealPlayer 8 content - try doing the `Take Five' -> `Bono' link
again. `To see this content, you need glorious RealPlayer 8'.

It sounds as though you don't have the ppp support compiled into your
kernel. Go back to the configuration and check to make sure it's turned
on.

Mandrake only sees 64 of my 128 of ram. How do I edit this file to correct this ? edit

Go back and recheck to make sure that your network settings are configured

I just went through tthe download process last week, and got RealPlayer 8 G2.
Thats the newest version for Linux, and its the one you'll get if you go
through the download process.
