lot of thought into how you set it up also. You two are quite the pair. Amber
is so lucky to have stumbled across you and your wonderful husband.

I have been e-mailing with a vet friend and she says most researchers these

I've just had 5 of my cats tested that are not vaccinated (think I already told
you this) but lived
I agree with everyone else. The virus has probably gotten in her system since
she's had two positive ELISA tests but there is a chance she could fight it off
before it goes any further. If she does extinguish the virus she'll eventually
test negative on both the ELISA and the IFA. If her sys
Good idea, but no, it was a blood test. Both Elisas.

Yes, I was just explaining what positive on the IFA meant. :)
Positive on the snap and then positive again at least 6 weeks later is most
likely positive.

She is not positive on the IFA, she is negative. An initial positive on

Now it really is ideal - you cannot imagine how much difference this has
made in our garage for the cat condos...we started this years ago and have
had no URIs at all since then, unless a sick cat comes in! Those lights

Hi Pam,I have had cats that test positive on the SNAP test, and then again one
month later. Two months later the same cats have tested negative and then
negative again after 6 months and continue to be negative a few years later. I
have one cat that still tested positive 6 months later but te
Positive on IFA means it has reached the bone barrow and there is no
clearing the virus. If she is positive on the snap test again (and it has been
at least 6 weeks since she last tested positive) then she is FeLV positive, but
you need to wait the full 6 weeks to give her body time to clear
Hi, Pamgo to this link again, it explains the testing under "How is FeLV

Positive on the ELISA, but NEG on the IFA test usually means that the virus
is in the early stages. Poppy's immune system still has a chance of clearing
the virus. I believe it is 6-8 weeks to do another IFA test. She still has
hope and I am happy for you.
I'll pray and keep my fingers crossed
You are going to love this! I forgot to mention that we put a full spectrum
light inside the palace. Look closely at the photos. It shows up in one of
them.
My hubby won't leave the basement lit up all day, but we leave the lights on in
the palace.

If you could get some full-spectrum lights in the basement, it would be even
more ideal!
Lucky girl!

I always love to hear positive experiences with FeLV+ cats. I still hope
that mine will continue to test negative. May 9th can't get here soon enough
