Terri, I was saddened to read that Siggie has crossed the Rainbow Bridge.  We love them, care for them and in the end let them go.  You gave him the greatest gift you could - freedom from pain and suffering.  He is now happily romping in the green meadows chasing butterflies with all our Angels.  I know my orange boy, Albert, will show him around. You are in my thoughts and prayersSharylFrom: Terri Brown To: RQP ; felvtalk ; Persian_Rescue ; FLUTD listserv Sent: Thursday, February 16, 2012 11:24 AM Subject: [Felvtalk] My Siggie

Re: [Felvtalk] My Siggie

2012-02-16 Thread GRAS

Terri, I am so sorry about Siggie!

We are away, and keep waiting for word about one of our cats that I’ve been
treating for CRF and cardiomyopathy for 1 ½ yrs. – she took a turn for the
worse (because I’m gone), and may have to be euthanized.

Regarding clots that paralyze: I’ve had this happen to three cats, not
during regular vet office hours, and emergency clinics euthanized. Two cats
didn’t seem to be in distress, another one cried and cried in pain.

Then I had a feral cat that had a clot, I took him to my vet, he certainly
didn’t say anything about euthanasia – dissolved the clot with meds, the
cats has a limp as a result, but has been fine for about 5 years now.

Natalie

Thanks, Terrie. I joined the list in 1999, when I lost my first FeLV+ cat,
Samantha. So yes -- it's been a long time. I've been lurking since Salome'
passed since she was my last FeLV+.

It IS heartbreaking. I love him so much.I will miss him terribly.

I remember Siggie and your time on this group. As we have been on here a very
