By the way, the food should be good for six months
after the expiration date. By law, nothing can be
sold past it's expiration date! The stores have to
pull it from it's shelves and dispose of it.
Whenever something like that happens, I am feeling
that somebody up there decide to make my day!
There is also a wonderful book called Cat Heaven by Cynthia Rylant. It's a children's book. It always make me cry, but in a good way. It gives me peace. You might try that.I'm a teacher and I also talk to my students about how if animals lived as long as we did who would there be to take care
I am very lucky that Mio (who is often sick) loves the car, however many of
the furbabes including my other kitty Oscar hate it. They get incredibly
stressed out and come home form the vet feeling worse then ever. Does
anyone have any tricks that have helped their cats stay calm? I have

We've got ten little ones - only our most recent addition, Smokey, is

to allow for a flexiglass lower panel so he can see the other cats but
not actually make contact with. The upper half of the door we screened

I totally understand. But if you haven't already, read the archives on

had no problems. I anguished over this, but these people helped me lose
my fear. In two weeks, I will be mixing.

I have the same problem when taking the cats to the vet. Ive found that each cat is
different. Montana (an older

At 15, he may have some dental problems. The brown discharge from the eyes sounds like it could be an upper respiratory infection (uri). Any discharge from the nose? Can you get him inside and put him in the bathroom by himself till you can get him to the vet? Clean him up a little and get some

your neighbors should be soundly kicked for leaving their poor old boy in so
much trouble. Shame on them, and bless your kind heart for wanting to help
this poor baby.
