The best I've been able to do is the correct booklet page layout, but parts
that somehow shrunk and don't fill the 8.5x11 half-page. None of the Acrobat
print options will make the part fill the

would really help with Finale.

In the transpose dialogue box check preserve original notes. Then
transpose by an octave and you'll get the old and the new pitches.
How counterintuitive is that? It never would have occurred to me to

I just entered runs of 16ths, 32nds, and 64ths in a different notation program
and all is well with playback.
Can you post a .MUS file or a .MID? I can put the .MUS in 2006b and the .MID in

I used to have a font called Ghent Percussion, but I can't seem to
get it to work in OSX. It is TrueType only, and I can no longer
recall what the ramification of that are w/ respect to OSX. I did

I second the recommendation for PDF995. I have had no problems with it in
Finale or Overture. I do, however, have the Ghostscript stuff.
Fortunately, my employer supplied me with the entire Adobe Creative Suite, so I
can live with its quirks given the cost! ;-)

Not sure what version you are using. In FinWin 2002 2004, at least, there
is a setting found at OPTIONSUPDATE LAYOUT OPTIONS.
You should select Across systems (maintain system locks). You might have

many of my clients have started to demand a reasonable mockup in addition to a

You can't create a push in slashes. You have to either write it in 2nd layer
on top the staff or change the particular beat (select partial measure) to
rhythmic notation. You can remove the stems, if you need to, in special
tools.
