The
. Fink
assumes that its packages are built against either other Fink packages
or the system, and it is far too complex of an undertaking for us to
debug builds against arbitrary third-party stuff.

Fink Commander doesn't always update its table properly, so you may need
to use its "Update Table" item. And when in doubt, use "fink list" from
a terminal--that's easier for us to debug than a verbal description of

However, when using a package which depends a TeX distro, one has to do
something to satisfy that, and we've found it futile to try. to rely on
upstreams doing things in a sane, stable manner.

Your issue is completely unrelated to FinkCommander, as that is just a

It may be dumping the output to the console log, but that's probably the
same as what you're getting already.
If I get a chance I'll try to confirm your problem--I need 10.5 for
work, so I really can't test on 10.6 without disrupting that.

So if you replace a call to 'mpicc' with your line then your compile

It seems reasonable to me that the package might need to use the same
gcc for both C and Fortran. I do
rs to
.xinitrc.
2) Create the directory $HOME/.xinitrc.d
3) Create the file $HOME/.xinitrc.d/74-kde.sh with the following contents
#!/bin/sh
exec /sw/opt/kde4/x11/bin/startkde
4) do a
chmod a+x $HOME/.xinitrc.d/74-kde.sh
to make that executable. This setup works for me, at any rate.

libgphoto2 will also work now, so in principle xsane could be made

ibs package is what's causing your KDE packages to

get from
which c++
and
$ ls -l `which c++`
