means going to a web-based service OR going to a fee-based service. If we could
find a reliable non-cost, non-web forum, is there any big reason not to move

Do you know how the data is stored in the Yahoo mailing list? If not, could
you contact the administrator to find out?
There may be a way to convert it to another platform in case the project
leaders decide to move it to another platform...
