So... a PC beats a Cray-1 hands-down. And while the PC will fit on your

help the relevant Flex folks with the procedure, I sign drivers
regularly as part of my job), and the necessary Class 3 Code Signing
Certificate costs less than $250 for one year (less if you get a cert
good for multiple years).

Try moving the cards, especially the 1394 card, to different slots on
your motherboard. This can result in the card using different interrupt
lines, which can change DPC/ISR latency.
It's not a slam-dunk of a solution, but it's worth trying.

that's used in the inexpensive commodity AMBE
decoder for D-Star does not do this. I do know that DVSI has a
board-level product that will do P25 decoding, the VC-55-PR.
Unfortunately, it's just a bit over $900 per board in small quantities.

First, PowerSDR is the radio itself. Your Flex 5000 or Flex 3000 plus
your computer running PowerSDR *IS* the radio.

I recently switched to VSP manager (for use with my SDR-1000) from
vComm.
VSP Manager works perfectly and is a great asset to the amateur radio
community. We owe a debt of gratitude to K5FR for writing this program

I'm CW 99.9 % of the time; it's those few DX stations on 6-meters that don't
work CW that drive me to find a microphone. And yes I'm another that is not
completely satisfied with the QSK with my 5000C. Moving from the Orion
keying to the Flex keying was tough! Agreed the newer versions of PSDR
not guessing or relying on internet lore about any of this: I've been
through just about every line of code in Wow-64... and there's not a lot of it.

off as a matter of course. But once I got more used to it (on Win7) I leave it
enabled on my laptop... it's a pretty decent security blanket and doesn't
really get in the way much in my experience.

I can't seem to access the Knowledge Base, would someone please tell me
where (or send me) the instructions for moving back to PSDR 1.18.5. I cannot
