Hi.
I've tried it but I'm little disappointed. There is already some older

Hi Fred, and all
There is a recent snapshoot of a corrected 0.4.9 at
ftp://ftp.ihg.uni-duisburg.de/FlightGear/Win32/fgrun-win32-20071209.zip
for windows,
but the source tarball at Sourceforge isn't updated...
Anyway, time for me to checkout via SVN :)
All the best,

Ok, the problem was an older apt.dat.gz file. Please check out the

Oh, I don't want to diktate about this either. But I think with
the current FDM it would put us into a glasshouse, from which
throwing stones at the MSFS scenery viewer would be unwise.

Hi All,
Flying the FW190 with a plib build, I noticed that the prop model isn't
disappearing above 1000rpm as expected, which is very distracting on my LCD
monitor with a refresh rather of 60Hz.
The patch included below re-orders the select animation so that that the select

Hi All,
I've come across and issue that I think we need to resolve before the release.
The last scenery rebuild was for the v0.9.10 release, 2 years ago. Since that
time, we've had a number of updates to the data/Airports/apt.dat.gz file/
This means that the locations of runways according to FG

Hi there,
I want to know if internationalization of FlightGear works in 0.9.11-
pre2 and/or cvs/head.
Some Mac users asked me if it works so I tested it, but nothing
changed when I specified --language=fr or --language=it
I launched fgfs with the following command:
% LANG=fr LC_TYPES=fr ./fgf

Shouldn't you just export LC_ALL? All other *nix programs seems to get language
from env variables (LC_* and LANG, the order they override each other can be
confusing). So maybe like: export LC_ALL="sv_SE" (though there is no Swedish
locale for fg, m

This version mismatch also very likely breaks ILS approaches
to lots of runways. (And more importantly: it breaks the glide

Attached is an updated version (as a diff against cvs) of the "Saitek X52 Pro
Flight Control System" joystick config I made. I hope this can get into cvs
before release.

Yes this is very serious, for example the c172p "start up" tutorial placed me on
the side of the runway. And I have seen quite a few affected airports (don't
remember names sadly).

I wrote a message to the group last week and received the reply below. I'm
not sure how to convert the multiplayer position message data from the
geodetic coordinates. Could you point me to a place in the flightgear code
or a resource on the internet that might help me do this conversion? I'm

Hi,
There was an outage of the flight tracker service from 0100Z to 0500Z today.
The service is available again.
Sorry for the inconveniences.
