O.k.
I have it - "force layer order" and, that's funny: the
big texture layer have to be on the smaller one!
Like that:
[x] mixcrop - a laaarge polygon, bigger than urban
[x] urban
[x] drycrop - a laaarge polygon, bigger than urban
[x] road
Funny, but it works!

It is in LandcoverDB tile, as I remember.
Sorry, cant check it now.
Hi Frederick, glad to see you here.
May be you as creator of this cool tool
Hi,
That's the problem: My thought was too, that mixcrop
is bigger than urban, so I did like your suggestion.
But it don't work, I checkec .fgsd.rc too, and this
was alright. I don't understand, why the order don't
work.

Why?
look from top at this:

Hi,
Thanks,it helps a little bit, but if I uncheck
mixedcroppastures I only get the default textures with
the urban, and so on.
If I check mixedcroppastures, everything has the
mixedcroppastures textures...
It is not logical!

Thanks!
Yeah, it is working - sometimes! :-(
FGSD is somewhat unstable and do things I don't
understand:
urban checked, mixcropped unchecked-> urban can be
seen.
urban checked, mixcropped checked-> urban cannot be
seen, it is all full of mixcropped.
FGSD dies sometimes without any reason

Its good!
As for shapes, ensure that fgsd see they files.
By default, if you type all pathes right, in fgsd-tools-options-LandcoverDB
generates table with filename, area type for this
file, chekbox use or not it in scenery,
Hi,
Great - it's working! I could modify an existing

But there is one problem for me left: the materials of

I downloaded V0-shapefiles, but I'm not
Hi,
Haven't got time to go one today, I will report when I
have success. It would be great, if you can start from
new airport, though there aren any lights ( yet!)

Do you ask is FGrun takes list of availible airports from apt.dator

Good question, an
Hi,
Thanks again!
O.k. so I can't use it for bigger airports than as a
preview and help placing buildings. But it should be
usuable for small glider places...
When runway lights are generated in terragear, so new
airports also will be maybe not appear in runfgfs in
the airport list?!

Hi,
I did try it, your short manual was quite useful.
But at the end I get an error message, and fgfs ends.
I think, that's because I coulden't save the new
apt.dat. right. I used to pack in .zip and rename it
to .gz.
I don't know any programm which convert directly or
packs to .gz.
So how did
Oh, just began to learn how to do it-
one curious question: can you select your new airport
in fgfs or it just only the airport drawn in fgfs, but
you can't select it?

Thanks a lot!
There is only question I have: which version of FGSD?
There are several around, and with the earlier one,
you could do easily changes to the scenery ...

terragear is very hard for me now.
Download shapes, HGT files, draw my
aport, and mix it in FGSD; then export and change only one tile in my
scsnery.
I know, it is a bit dont right, but usefull as quick preview.
